Jamison Scotto, DMD

Meet Dr. Scotto
Dr. Scotto is originally from Glen Cove, NY and in 1996 earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Rochester. In 2001, Dr. Scotto achieved his DMD at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He then completed his specialty-training program in Periodontics and Dental Implants three years later, also at the University of Connecticut Health Center. During his time there, Dr. Scotto received several academic scholarships and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
In 2005, Dr. Scotto attained Board Certified status when he was named a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Scotto is active in the dental community currently serving as the President of the Connecticut Society of Periodontists and as Treasurer of the Litchfield County Dental Society. He previously taught at the UConn School of Dental Medicine as a faculty member in the Department of Periodontology.
Dr. Scotto has a history of volunteering for both local and international causes. While a dental student he helped organize a dental screening clinic for the Connecticut Special Olympics and provided dental treatment for underserved people in the Amazonian rainforest of Peru.
Dr. Scotto joined Connecticut Periodontal & Implant Associates in 2004.
He lives in West Granby with his wife, Sara, and their three children. He enjoys cooking, skiing, hiking, and is an avid NY Giants fan.
